Ruth – Ty Newydd Farm
We used concrete railway sleepers about ten years ago to construct a silage pit floor by laying them upside down, it then became apparent that they could be used in many cases around the farm. In 2011 we entered into a grant scheme run by the Welsh Office to which we applied for the construction of a farm track made up with 3000 concrete sleepers. Andy gave us an estimate for the grant people and helped us with any questions that the Welsh Office came up with and whilst waiting for the decision from the Welsh Office to go ahead with the project, Andy waited patiently for 6 months before we could give him the go ahead for the purchase and delivery for the sleepers, following the delay from the Welsh Office they imposed a deadline to finish the project which made the timing on Andy’s side of the deal difficult, but happily we can report that Blue Bear Trading pulled out all the stops and delivered all concrete sleepers on time. We would certainly recommend and use Blue Bear Trading again. Thank you Andy
